Dog Etiquette –
Dear BALA Members:
Some property owners on the Lake have spoken to me about dog owners not picking up after their pets on their daily walks. In addition, they have said that some dogs have been off leash and have chased wildlife on the property of these owners.
We are asking everyone to please be courteous of your neighbors and pick up after your dog. And, please do not leave the little blue/green bags along the road for somebody else to pick up. I would also note that the Town of Sturbridge has a leash law which is applicable to our lake roads.
As we all know, the roads around the Lake are mostly on private property.As members of a wonderful lake community, let’s all pitch in and do our part to respect everyone’s property and support our neighbors.
